Jim Ballantine and his family established Wootton Valley Meat with the aim of providing first class beef from his own farm, direct to consumers, who want restaurant quality meat at an affordable price.

We want to pass the savings on to you!

Wootton Valley Meat is  family owned and operated,  and the beef comes from the luscious grazing lands of Ballantine Estate at Wootton, NSW

Jim has over 30 years experience as a meat inspector, and really knows what's what with meat!

His son, Jason, is also hands on, working as our livestock manager, and also at the  local Farmers Markets. Come and say Hello!

The family  has owned Ballantine Estate for over 20 years and run Angus, and cross Hereford/Santa Gertrudis cattle

The stock are kept calm and stress free, as they are mustered only by horses, and this ensures their tenderness.

To help with this process, they are only grass fed and no growth hormones are used.

Jim oversees all facets of the operation, to ensure that all products are up to the high standard set by The Food Authority, and his own integrity.
